I love vampires. And I love zombies. Yes, essentially, they are one and the same… you know, both dead, both walking, all that fun stuff. Sure, one’s thirst is for blood, and the other is for brains.. but like I said, minor details.
Which makes AFTER SUNDOWN, from director Christopher Abram (THE FANGLYS), sound so dang cool! Check out this synopsis:
AFTER SUNDOWN is the story of a young woman who “is plunged into a gory battle with a predatory vampire from the Old West who has the power to create undead zombie slaves that assist him on his search for his vampire offspring… With the help of Texas locals, our heroine ends the growing threat in a wild clash of vampires and zombies, sending the creatures straight to hell!”
Me thinks NEAR DARK when hearing vampires and the west, and we all know how much fun that jaunt was! The flick just started principal photography this week for production companies Windblown Films and ThinkTank Entertainment, filming in and around the big state of Texas (it is the wild west we’re talkin’ here!).
