I’m not a sports guy as I’m inundated with all things movies, comics, etc., but absolutely respect the masses in their fascination with the game. That being said, in between the Giants beating The Patriots (21-17) there happened to be a nice serving of movie trailers, which also saw the release of some extended versions.
THE AVENGERS trailer seemed to be the clear winner in terms of badassery. The BATTLESHIP trailer looks so much like a TRANSFORMERS movie that I almost thought they were showing a teaser for a fourth one. JOHN CARTER provided some cool new action peeks, of which I’m pretty stoked for. In addition, we also saw the earlier released GIJOE RETALIATION, THE DICTATOR, and a new spot for the Navy SEALS flick ACT OF VALOR.
