According to Screen Daily Anchor Bay Films has just acquired North American rights to the supernatural thriller THE POSSESSION OF MICHAEL KING. This will mark David Jung's directorial debut which circles around a widower who explores the occult following the shocking death of his wife. We have certainly been seeing a lot of "possession" films these days so hopefully Jung's first flick will offer something new to the genre.
Grieving the shocking loss of his wife, Michael King sets out to disprove the existence of the supernatural… but as he journeys deeper into the occult, he discovers that some questions are better left unanswered.

The flick stars Shane Johnson (above) as well as Dale Dickey, Tomas Arana, Ella Anderson and Julie McNiven. There is no release date set just yet for the flick but we'll be sure to keep you guys in the loop on this one.
