I hadn’t given much thought to Jennifer Lynch’s SURVEILLANCE for quite some time. However, I’m glad to have seen some new pics from the flick to help re-whet my appetite. One of those new images is right up top and how about it?! The very first thing I thought was “Cool Mask!” We’ve got a “Top Ten Mask List” coming up from Mr. Matt Withers and I’m thinking this bad-boy could’ve made the list (even though it’s at quite a distance)! I really like the interwoven plot of this thriller too. Check it out: It’s been a hell of a day on the highway. When Federal Officers Elizabeth Anderson and Sam Hallaway arrive at Captain Billing’s office, they have three sets of stories to figure out and a string of vicious murders to consider. One zealot cop, a strung out junkie and an eight year old girl all sit in testimony to the roadside rampage, but as the Feds begin to expose the fragile little details each witness conceals so carefully with a well practiced lie, they soon discover that uncovering ‘the truth’ can come at a very big cost…

Bam! Nice stuff! I do believe I want to survey this bitch! If you’d like, you can have a look-in at the trailer right here. Oh, and did I mention the cast is pretty damn cool too? Observe: Julia Ormond, Bill Pullman, Pell James (below), Ryan Simpkins, French Stewart, and Kent Harper. Whoa! French Stewart with the squinty eyes and nasally voice! Oh, I hope he’s one of the killers! SURVEILLANCE opens in limited release on June 26th.
