Production Weekly scored some casting news today for Jennifer Chambers Lynch’s upcoming serial killer thriller SURVEILLANCE, and while it may not be the most exciting choice, the story itself sounds like it could be a fun ride.
SURVEILLANCE tells the tale of an FBI agent tracking a serial killer with the help of his would-be-victims, all of whom have very different stories of their experiences.
Whoa, now there’s taking it to a whole new level. It’d be like taking Amanda, when she was still sweet and innocent in SAW, to track down Jigsaw… talk about intense!
Billy Burke, who recently starred in LADDER 49 and (more importantly) co-wrote DEAD AND BREAKFAST, has been cast in the lead role, which I’m guessing is the FBI agent (versus the serial killer). The guy has that FBI look going for him, so what more could ya want? Plus, the guy’s partly responsible for the zombie musical that was BREAKFAST- so even more props to him!
SURVEILLANCE begins shooting next month, so stick around for more news and updates as we hear them!
