Believe it or not, THE DARK KNIGHT is almost upon us! We’re all so excited you’d think we were counting down to Christmas, or at least a visit from a high-class hooker. To help continue the positive vibes, a very cool new DARK KNIGHT poster has just hit WhySoSerious. (The URL is http://www.whysoserious.com/stupidbats… The Joker isn’t very mature, is he?)
Hasn’t it felt like ages since we first became excited for this movie, what might be one of the summer’s biggest blockbusters? (If not THE biggest…) It seems like it was forever ago that Heath Ledger was announced as The Joker. Recall how dubious we all were? Now we’re betting on him getting a Best Supporting Actor nomination – and we haven’t even seen the damn thing yet. That’s called being psyched!
Thankfully, the buzz has been good – very good – from the lucky mooks who HAVE seen it. Comparisons to GODFATHER II are flying around; it’s being called epic (it has an epic running time, apparently clocking in at 152 minutes!). Hell, I’ll just be happy if it’s better than BATMAN BEGINS…
