Just a few hours ago Eric hit you all with loads of details on a few films coming our way via the SyFy Channel. Well some new flicks isn’t all SyFy is bringing to the table this Summer!
You see Variety just announced a couple brand new television shows SyFy has coming our way: “Paranormal Investigators” and “Mary Knows Best.” Ready for the rundown?
“Paranormal Investigators” is set to ride the coattails of shows like “Ghost Hunters” while “Mary Knows Best” follows a radio psychic and her family.
Unfortunately those are the only details we’ve got thus far. Now you’re probably asking yourself what’s up with that shot above right? Well it’s part of the Tim Burton exhibit at Gotham’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, which served as the backdrop for these announcements. Plus that’s just some groovy art.
But alas, there’s more! Not only did SyFy announce these two brand new shows but they’ve also confirmed several other new and returning shows including “Beast Legends,” “Warehouse 13,” “Eureka,” “Ghost Hunters,” “Destination Truth,” “Caprica,” “Stargate Universe,” “Sanctuary,” “Haven,” “Being Human” and “Three Inches.” Well damn… that’s a pretty packed schedule, no? So why all the fuss? It seems ever since the SciFi Channel became the SyFy Channel it’s introduced a fairly new slate and has seen some huge success, causing SyFy to be competitive with the top echelon of basic cable, behind only USA, TNT and TBS in some key measures. Impressive.
The only other info we’re given on “Paranormal Investigators” and “Mary Knows Best” is that both shows will begin July 15th. So what do you guys think? You down for a couple new SyFy shows? You stoked for any of the returning shows? Hit us with your opinions below!
