Two ALICE IN WONDERLAND stories is as many days? Must be a release date looming for the sucker, ay?!?

As we all know by now, March 5th is the time to mark your calendar for Disney’s inaugural tent-pole outing of the year, and to keep us reminded, a glut of new stills from the flick have just been disseminated. And in case you missed it, they come one day after seeing the first full minute clip from the new Tim Burton adaptation.

Perhaps your asking yourself what kinds of new images are to be shown that we haven’t already seen? To that I say…not a whole helluva lot! Sure, there’s additional photos of all the principal players, including Alice, The Red Queen, The Knave of Hearts, etc. We’re also treated to some of the majestic landscapes, The Queen’s castle, that sort of thing. What is new however, is the small handful of behind-the-scenes photos of Burton hard at work on set. What instantly struck me in those shots was how much of a dead ringer Burton is for the lead singer of The Flaming Lips. You can see it, right? Right?

Adapted from the classic Lewis Carroll children’s tale by Linda Woolverton, ALICE IN WONDERLAND revolves around 19-year-old Alice, as she returns to the magical world from her childhood adventure, where she reunites with her old friends and learns of her true destiny: to end the Red Queen’s reign of terror.
