Tartan Takes Taxi

This may well be one of the most cracked-out movies I’ve ever heard of, and thanks to Tartan Films, we’ll be able to check it out here in North America within the next year. But what could I possibly be talking about? The Hungarian film TAXIDERMIA, from director Gyorgy Palfi, of course!

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Tartan Films just picked up all North American distribution rights for the film, which I’m guessing will be presented on DVD for us all to enjoy, as Tartan generally doesn’t do theatrical runs. TAXIDERMIA goes a little something-something like this: [TAXIDERMIA is a] grotesque tale that uses special effects to track three generations of men, including an award-winning obese speed eater, an embalmer of gigantic cats and a man who shoots fire out of his penis.

Yeah seriously, what the hell??? Not that I would expect anything less from Tartan Films, as they’ve proven to release some awesomely crazy ass shite over the last year or so, and with a story outline like this… well, I’m sure this won’t disappoint.

Stick around for that release date of TAXIDERMIA, as you know you can’t wait to snag yourself a copy!
