Looks like March will be a hot month for fans of Tartan Video’s Asian Extreme label. They’re putting out two heavy hitting titles from their collection: KOMA on March 8th and A TALE OF TWO SISTERS on March 29th.
KOMA goes a little somthin’ like this: During a wedding reception, a young woman (THE EYE’s Angelica Lee) discovers the most recent victim of the kidney thief terrorizing Hong Kong. She suspects a mysterious woman (Karena Lam) who holds a bitter grudge against her and her boyfriend, with whom she shares a secret past. Almost unavoidably, these two women, polar opposites of one another, begin an uneasy friendship as their fates become irrevocably intertwined.
Gotta love a little fun with Urban Legends! Special DVD features include a director’s commentary, music video, the original theatrical trailer, and previews of Tartan Asia Extreme new releases.

They are releasing two versions, a one-disc R-rated DVD, and also a two-disc unrated bundle. Disc one features director, cinematographer and lighting director commentary, director and stars commentary, plus an Easter egg.
Disc Two has behind-the-scenes footage, cast interviews, deleted scenes, post production documentaries, to the viewer – director’s analysis, psychiatrist’s perspective, an Easter egg, and previews of Tartan Asia Extreme new releases.
So mark your calendars kids. It looks like Tartan Asia Extreme is determined to live up to its name!
