Teaser Madness

If you’re like me, you’re stewing in your own self pity this morning as another Halloween is over (sniff sniff). That, or you’re suffering through a raging hangover, and to tell you the truth, I think they both feel about the same. But just because the holiday is over, doesn’t mean the horror has stopped. Oh no, we were hooked up with some very awesome treats for Halloween, and now it’s time to enjoy them!


We’ve been hearing about the CARNIVAL OF LOST SOULS over at the FoxAtomic site all month, and from what I hear it went off without a hitch. It also went off with some awesome first-looks at their upcoming sequels to both 28 DAYS LATER and THE HILLS HAVE EYES!


First up, 28 WEEKS LATER. Go ahead and click HERE to enjoy the madness, and see what they’ve come up with so far. Part teaser, part behind-the-scene footage, I’d have to admit I was pretty impressed with what’s there so far. Yeah, it’s rough, and sure, the music’s kind of lame, but I can see greatness trying to poke its nasty little head through.

Next, THE HILLS HAVE EYES 2. If you click HERE, you can check out the sweet teaser/footage from this bad boy, with an introduction from horror ninja Wes Craven. Verdict? This thing looks awesome so far! Seriously, just from this rough cut I’d say it has a good chance of living up to its processor.


But what say you? Which one of these sequels looks like the key ticket to horror for 2007? Spit some bullets bellow and voice your opinion, man! HILLS 2 looked a bit better than 28 WEEKS, but at this point- who knows. Anything can happen. Look for both these joy rides in theaters early next year.
