With MALEFICENT about to drop into theaters May 30th, it seems Disney wants to remind audiences of the next live-action take that's right around the corner.  Enter CINDERELLA.  Kenneth Branagh (THOR, JACK RYAN: SHADOW RECRUIT) will be handling directing duties, and given his penchant Shakespeare, I can't imagine this period peice being too much of a stretch for him.  As for you glass slipper fetishests, your day has come.

Check it out:

The cast definitely has me interested, ranging from Helena Bonham Carter as the Fairy Godmother, Cate Blanchett as the evil stepmother, and Robb Stark himself (Richard Madden) as Prince Charming.  Taking the story into account, I'm looking forward to a film that's not chock full of CG (a la ALICE IN WONDERLAND or MALEFICENT) but it's too early to tell at this point. The teaser poster is also available for your viewing enjoyment below.

CINDERELLA, starring Hayley Atwell, Helena Bonham Carter, Cate BlanchettRichard Madden, Stellan Skarsgard, and Lily James, is set for a March 13, 2015 release.
