We love our independent horror here at Arrow In The Head, and the latest indie picture to catch our attention is DOWN THE ROAD. Check out a teaser trailer for the slasher below. Here is the brief synopsis:
A group of college students escape their troubled lives but only to find themselves fighting for their lives from a revenge seeking mad man.
That’s certainly nothing we haven’t seen before, but there are couple of things that make this one noteworthy. First of all, it features the character actor Clint Howard among the cast. Secondly, the script was revised and edited by Victor Brooke Miller, who penned the original FRIDAY THE 13TH. A slasher with his stamp of approval instantly piques my interest.
The film is written and directed by Jason Christopher. It comes courtesy of Team Spontaneous Pictures and Kphat Productions. The cast includes Jen Dance, Chelsey Garner, David J Bonner, Matthew Nadu, Shaun Paul Costello, Brian Gallagher, Nikki Bell, and Chris Ready.
