As my buddy Jake noted in his last article about FUN SIZE, we’re not quite sure yet how appropriate the Josh Schwartz film is for our site; after all, based on the synopsis – and the director’s resume – it doesn’t really resemble a flick of interest. But, it is a Halloween-themed movie, so we’re giving it the benefit of the doubt for the time being.
Some casting news on FUN SIZE has just been dropped into our goody bag: Actress Jane Levy (pictured) is in talks to be brought into the fold. Levy would join the already-cast Thomas Mann and Victoria Justice in the flick, which is being written and directed by Schwartz (“The O.C.”, “Chuck”).
FUN SIZE centers on a sarcastic teenage girl who is forced to take her little brother trick-or-treating on Halloween, then loses him and must find him before their mother finds out.
Levy is being eyed to play best friend to the movie’s lead character Justice. While relatively a newbie to this acting game, she is a regular on the Showtime show “Shameless”. She’s also set to appear as the lead in an upcoming comedy series from ABC called “Suburgatory”.
