Teen assassin Hanna is still lethal in this UK trailer

The first trailer for the teenage assassin movie HANNA (further below) was a slow burn to the action, but the new UK version has no time for that fluffy father-daughter relationship business and gets right on down to the killing.

MSN has the UK trailer, which gives a fairly different sense of the movie’s tone with just a slightly more BOURNE approach. Not to worry, there’s still plenty of carnage caused by star Saorise Ronan and papa Eric Bana either way. Compare for yourself.

The synopsis: “Hanna (Saoirse Ronan) is a teenage girl. Uniquely, she has the strength, the stamina, and the smarts of a soldier; these come from being raised by her father, an ex-CIA man, in the wilds of Finland. Living a life unlike any other teenager, her upbringing and training have been one and the same, all geared to making her the perfect assassin. The turning point in her adolescence is a sharp one; sent into the world by her father on a mission, Hanna journeys stealthily across Europe while eluding agents dispatched after her by a ruthless intelligence operative with secrets of her own. As she nears her ultimate target, Hanna faces startling revelations about her existence and unexpected questions about her humanity.”
