A kick-ass new poster for the upcoming flick loosely-based on Edgar Allen Poe’s “The Tell-Tale Heart” known as TELL TALE hit the internet this morning, and holy crow does this f*cker look amazing!
The flick stars Josh Lucas, Brian Cox, and the super-hot Lena Headey, and is directeb by Michael Cuesta. When I say “loosely-based adaptation” I really do mean it, as you can tell from the following synopsis:
Terry (Josh Lucas) is a struggling single father, abandoned by his wife years earlier, who prides himself on taking good care of his young daughter. His life is finally looking up after he recently received a successful heart transplant, and he is even falling in love with a beautiful doctor (Lena Headey). But then the headaches start. And the visions. The new heart inside Terry seems to be beating to a horrifying drummer of its own. Haunted by its violent past, the heart begins to take hold of Terry, leading the young father on a frantic and harrowing search to find the donor’s killer before he meets a similar fate.
In a way, you could also say it’s a loosely-based adaptation of Eric Red’s BODY PARTS, but since it’s a new heart and not a new arm, he can’t go accidentally kill people. Or can he??? Anyway, the new poster for this flick strikes a delightful chord with me (cause puzzle pieces are cool), and makes me want to check this f*cker out and then some.
