TF2 in 3D!

Talk about putting a bow on a pile of feces (not a real saying, but use it if you like). Buried in a newsletter put out by Dolby (2008 Showest edition; peep a screenshot to your right) is the revelation that TRANSFORMERS 2 will be a 3D feature. Whether this is the cheesy “put on your glasses NOW!” form of 3D or the real deal remains to be seen, but I think it’s a promising announcement… I pretty much hated the first TRANSFORMERS, but dammit, I’m still able to get stoked by the prospect of seeing robots battling in 3D. I’m only human! Oh yeah, and Megan Fox in 3D hurts no one.

Having just seen some exclusive 3D footage from FINAL DESTINATION 4 (more on that soon to come), I’m very impressed by – and further looking forward to – what this new technology can do.

Also mentioned in the newsletter is something called “HORRORWEEN,” which I’ve found – after some intense “journalist-ing” (going to IMDB) – is a comedy directed by Joe Estevez. Creepy… (And don’t even get me started on those f*ckin’ Smurfs.)

TRANSFORMERS 2, starring Shia Lebeouf, Megan Fox, Isabel Lucas, and a gaggle of stereotypical caricatures, opens June 26, 2009.

Remember those half naked pics of Megan Fox from the other day? Of course you do.
