Apparently, the TRANSFORMERS team consulted with George Lucas on how to best whip up a weaksauce subtitle for their sequel, and he guided them well… Here is it: TRANSFORMERS 2: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN. Huh… Nah, lame. How ’bout: TRANSFORMERS 2: REVENGE OF MY WALLET, in which the wallet from whence my 11 dollars came exacts bloody vengeance on Michael Bay and his cohorts.

The new TRANSFORMERS – now shooting in Philadelphia – will star Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, John Turturro, Rainn Wilson, Isabel Lucas and Tyrese Gibson. The screenplay was written by Ehren Kruger, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci; it hits theaters June 26, 2009.
