The analyst is activated in final trailer for Amazon’s Jack Ryan TV series

The time has almost arrived for John Krasinski to put his spin on Jack Ryan, who will be following in the footsteps of Alec Baldwin (THE HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER), Harrison Ford (PATRIOT GAMES and CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER), Ben Affleck (THE SUM OF ALL FEARS), and Chris Pine (JACK RYAN: SHADOW RECRUIT), and the final trailer for the soon-to-be-released Amazon series looks extremely promising. The show will, naturally, center around Jack Ryan (Krasinski), an up-and-coming CIA analyst who is thrust into a dangerous field assignment for the first time. Over the course of eight-episodes, Ryan will uncover a pattern in terrorist communication that launches him into the center of a dangerous gambit with a new breed of terrorism that threatens destruction on a global scale. Jack Ryan also stars Wendell Pierce (The Wire) and Abbie Cornish (THREE BILLBOARDS OUTSIDE EBBING, MISSOURI).

Amazon obviously has quite a lot of faith in Jack Ryan as they already renewed the series for a second season back in April which will find Ryan confronting the forces of power in a dangerous, declining democratic regime in South America. Noomi Rapace (PROMETHEUS) and Michael Kelly (House of Cards) will be joining the series for its second season.
