With so many news stories happening every minute of every day, it's sometimes easy for a cool video or two to escape our grasp. Thankfully, the internet has a very long memory, and sometimes things that people would say are passé are given new life, much like this cool mash-up music video that was brought to our attention late this afternoon.
Today we submit for your enjoyment and approval a version of Queen's classic 1977 anthem "We Are the Champions," set to the action and heroics of Marvels Greatest Heroes, the Avengers. The video was recently unearthed from its early-April post date and shared by AVENGERS: ENDGAME co-directors Joe and Anthony Russo, who posted the Tony Stark quote "There's no version of this where you come out on top …" alongside the meticulously edited music video.

Since the video's April posting, the mash-up created by Twitter user @madxthing has garnered over 900,000 views, with more on the way after the Russos were kind enough to share it with their many fans.
If you ask me, the video is quite stunning, with key moments in the song syncing to perfection against some of the best signature attacks that Marvel's pantheon of heroes have to offer. It's the kind of video that makes you want to organize a Marvel Movie Marathon and watch all of the battles over again, with Queen's timeless tune lodged firmly in your ears each and every time the fisticuffs kick into high gear.
The Russos may be taking their leave of the MCU for now, though it would seem that they'll always be on the lookout for sweet fan-made fare to share to share with the studio's dedicated followers.
