While we’re still crossing our fingers and tentacles for some live-action glimpse of the grand superhero gathering THE AVENGERS when CAPTAIN AMERICA and/or Comic Con happens next month, for now we’ll have to settle for a poster of the principal characters leaping into action.
The painted mockup promo sheet was spotted (and tweeted) at the Licensing International Expo, and (despite being processed through experimental JoBlo image filters) only gives a blurry look at Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye outfit, Ruffalo-Hulk and the 21st century version of Captain America’s costume.
We’ll be on the lookout for a better image (now below and clickable!), but for the moment, maybe it’s enough to get you jazzed for Joss Whedon’s mega-budget blockbuster beatdown, slamming theaters in May 2012.
