Update: The Batmobile is in motion in this new on-set clip; more from Snyder

Editor's update: With reports of one of the Batmobile's being stolen from the Detroit set yesterday, director Zack Snyder took to Twitter to give us an update on the conundrum and it seems the cuprit has been apprehended. It's great to see Snyder taking things in stride and exhibiting a sense of humor, both with the media, fans, and of course, J.J. Abrams.

With yesterday's slew of Batmobile pictures hitting the web, we knew it was only a matter of time before we got to see the beast tearing up the streets on its own. Well, that time is now thanks to Instagram user brasherj who got up early to see the Batmobile being led by another car with a camera mounted on it.

Take a look:

You can check out a slightly different shot of the car in motion here as well.  When on-set pictures of the Batmobile from BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE found their way online, it didn't take Zack Snyder long to respond with a really cool official photo of the Dark Knight's ride. Now that footage of the car in motion is online, any chance Snyder may throw a little more our way? I wouldn't count on it, but that would pretty cool. You hear me, Snyder?!?
