The battle for the Iron Throne rages in the Game of Thrones Season 7 trailer

Last Updated on July 31, 2021

Yesterday, the official motion poster for GAME OF THRONES Season 7 dropped, and today, HBO has debuted the full, battle-torn trailer for the show’s triumphant return. If you remember, at the end of the last season, Daenerys’ (Emilia Clarke) jaw-dropping army were poised to march their way to Westeros, with the Queen of Dragons pets patrolling the skies no less. Once there, she’s bound to discover that Cersei (Lena Headey) has become Queen of the region and taken her not-so-rightful place upon the throne. With the Night King’s (Vladimir Furdik) army making their way South, there’s no telling what manner of swords, sorcery, and bloodshed will arise.

Awwwwwwww yeah! Bring it the f*ck on! It feels like way too long since our last flagon of wine and gorgeous-but-deadly wildfire bombing, doesn’t it? With the episode count ticking down during the last two seasons of the show, I’m rather hopeful that many of my questions will be answered and that some of my favorite characters make it out of the story alive and well.

Clear your Sunday night calendar’s, folks, because GAME OF THRONES Season 7 will premiere on HBO July 16, 2017!
