The Collector 3 coming soon!

Actor Josh Stewart has starred in both director Marcus Dunstan's THE COLLECTOR and the filmmaker's follow up THE COLLECTION. And today we have word via Stewart that a third film in the franchise – currently going by the title THE COLL3CTOR – is in the works. Stewart shared the new film's poster over on Twitter earlier tonight with the caption: "Lock the door." Brr. You can check out the poster below and then let us know what you think!

THE COLLECTOR followed:

Desperate for money to pay off a debt, a man targets a wealthy family's home and plans to break in and steal a valuable gem. He soon learns that he picked the wrong night to carry out his plans, for a masked madman has gotten there first, imprisoned the family, and lined the mansion with deadly traps.

Then THE COLLECTION centered on:

A young woman named Elena (Emma Fitzpatrick) sneaks out of her house one night to attend an exclusive party, unaware of the horror that awaits her. A sick criminal known as The Collector crashes the party in search of fresh victims. When Elena goes into hiding, she finds and frees Arkin (Josh Stewart), The Collector's captive. Arkin manages to escape, but Elena is taken prisoner. A mercenary friend of Elena's father then forces Arkin to come along on a mission to free the young woman.

Both films were directed by Marcus Dunstan (FEAST) from screenplays he co-wrote along with Patrick Melton. We can assume at the moment this will be the case for this new flick as well, considering the poster boasts the new movie is from "the twisted writers of Saw IV, V, VI, & VII."
