It was just last month we were hearing about Adam Rehmeier’s THE BUNNY GAME and how apparently the folks across the pond over in the UK couldn’t handle the content of the film. More specifically, the British Board of Film Classification. What a bunch of bloody blokes.
Thankfully those prudes don’t get to ruin things for the rest of the world! Variety has word today that two other countries will get their chance to check out THE BUNNY GAME sooner rather than later. You see, Germany’s Illusion Unlimited and Scandinavia’s Njuta have both just snatched up distribution rights to THE BUNNY GAME for their respective territories. This pick-up is thanks to the U.K. genre sales outfit Jinga Films shopping this one around at this year’s American Film Market.
A prostitute looking for her next meal hitches a ride with a trucker that leaves her praying for her next breath.
Starring Rodleen Getsic (below) and Jeff Renfro, THE BUNNY GAME is an insanely controversial and violent film that has yet to score distribution here in the US. Jinga Films hopes that’ll change before the end of the AFM. We do too. As soon as any other updates on this little diddy roll our way you can bet we’ll pass them right along to all of you.
