The wait is finally over as the first trailer and poster for Tim Burton’s DARK SHADOWS has arrived in all it’s gothic splendor. Many have questioned what the tone of the film will be and this trailer lays that out pretty well if the music and interactions are any indication. I would label this a “gothic comedy.”

I wasn’t a big follower of the original TV show, so there isn’t much for me to compare this to, but I must say, I like what I see. I don’t know what, if anything, anyone was expecting from this, so it’s hard to say whether this lives up to expectations or not. For me, I’m game. This looks like fun.
