That’s right: THE HAUNTING OF MOLLY HARTLEY is getting a sequel!

Oh, what’s that? You don’t remember that flick? Came out on Halloween day, 2008? PG-13 fluff starring Haley Bennett (pictured above)? That’s okay, you’re forgiven. In any event, a sequel has just been announced by 20th Century Fox: THE EXORCISM OF MOLLY HARTLEY.

Steven R. Monroe (I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE) is directing, while Devon Sawa (Final Destination, Idle Hands), Gina Holden (Final Destination 3, The Butterfly Effect 2) and Sarah Lind (WolfCop, “True Justice”) star. Direct-to-DVD sequel specialist Matt Venne (MIRRORS 2, WHITE NOISE 2) penned the script.

Lind plays Molly Hartley, who now as an adult, has fallen under the possession of an evil spirit and must be exorcised by a fallen priest before the devil completely takes her.

Shooting is going down in Winnipeg, Manitoba; Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment will handle worldwide distribution on Blu-ray, DVD, VOD and Digital HD for the film’s release in 2015.
