With just under a month to go before it hits theaters, the cast and crew of THE EXPENDABLES 3 are having a great time at San Diego Comic Con, plugging their film and telling fans how much fun it is going to be. What isn’t fun is the full length film has been leaked online which could damage the box office potential for the mega-cast action flick.

Variety is reporting that the film has already been downloaded over 189,000 times since it came online just over a day ago. If you do the math, that would be the equivalent of just under $2 million in box office. When an unfinished cut of X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE leaked online, 20th Century Fox claimed massive damages. But, what it did more was show fans how bad the movie was which could have damaged box office even further.

We here at JoBlo.com do not condone movie piracy in any fashion and will not share any information on where and how you can download THE EXPENDABLES 3. Realize if you partake in viewing the apparant rip from a DVD screener of the film, you are likely contributing to the end of the franchise and could face legal action should the producers pursue that path. You could face hefty fines or incarceration, so just wait and see the movie in theaters.

It remains to be seen what impact the leak will have or where it originated, but I am sure we will hear some choice words from Sylvester Stallone in the near future. Until then we can all expect to see an authorized theatrical release of THE EXPENDABLES 3 on August 15th.
