It’s been awhile since we last heard from the Tom Mattera / David Mazzoni directed independent horror flick THE FIELDS, as it’s been rigorously filming on location throughout the Pocono Mountains region in Pennsylvania for the last 2 months. We just got word that production has finally wrapped, and the directing duo are now deep into post-production!

Starring the smokin’ hot Tara Reid and Cloris Leachman, THE FIELDS is a psychological thriller based on actual events that took place in a small Pennsylvania town in 1973. The film, written by Harrison Smith, tells the story of a young boy and his family who are terrorized by a menacing presence lurking in the cornfields surrounding their farmhouse.

Gotta love them ‘based on a true story’ ghost stories, eh? And with Reid up in the horror house once again? Where can I sign up? If you want even more scoopage on THE FIELDS, be sure to hit up the film’s OFFICIAL SITE, and if you’re feeling really inspired, why not become a fan on FACEBOOK? Why the f*ck not, indeed…

Stick around for more news and updates on THE FIELDS as it inches ever closer to the final product.
