We’ve seen A LOT of trailers, TV spots, and more for THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 so far and now we have one more “final” trailer to unload, which features quite a bit of new footage and dialogue from director Marc Webb’s superhero sequel. If you’re trying to remain spoiler free, then I’d give you some caution in watching this one, but I don’t think it will ruin anything that we don’t already suspect. I have a suspicion there are still some surprises left in this one, which has me kind of excited.

I’m liking the kind of 300-esque slow-mo vibe that’s in these trailers and it’s not because I want to see Spidey as a Spartan chopping through bad guys. Because Spider-Man is so acrobatic it can make for a dizzying experience watching him do, well, anything, so by slowing it down a bit and letting us actually see what’s happening feels like an enhancement of the experience, more so than a stylistic choice. I’m interested to see how much of that sticks in the final film. Either way, I feel much more optimistic with this web-slinging adventure than I did with the last one.
