Dreamworks animation has released the first trailer for the caveman adventure THE CROODS, starring Nicolas Cage, Ryan Reynolds, Emma Stone, Catherine Keener, and Clark Duke. The animated tale focuses on a group of cavemen (and women…ahem) who find themselves in a strange fantasy world. It’s an odd pairing of voice talent, but nonetheless intriguing, especially with Cage, who can’t help but sound like, well, Cage.

This seems highly reminiscent of ICE AGE: DAWN OF THE DINOSAURS, just with less dinosaurs. However, it does look fun and the talent is strong, so this could very well be a fun little animated pic.
