The Forever Purge image previews the masked outlaws of final sequel

The Purge franchise is coming to an end with the July 2nd theatrical release of The Forever Purge, which keeps the Purge action going even after the Purge was officially abolished. USA Today unveiled a new image from the film in their summer preview, and you can check it out below.

Directed by Everardo Gout from a screenplay by franchise creator James DeMonaco (who has written every film in the series and directed the first three), The Forever Purge takes place after the events of The Purge: Election Year and will center on

Adela (Ana de la Reguera) and Juan (Tenoch Huerta), who find solace at a Texan ranch, having fled a drug cartel in Mexico. Things go awry when a group of outsiders decide to keep purging beyond the allotted time when people can break any and all laws.

We always heard that this film would "take Purge out of its usual metropolitan setting", and in the image shared by USA Today we see that the masked Purgers have outfits that go along with the ranch setting. USA Today's caption for the image goes like this:

After the annual Purge is abolished, a group of masked outlaw Purgers in Texas refuse to give up the fight in director Everardo Gout's fifth and final movie in the dystopian horror franchise.

Ana de la Reguera and Tenoch Huerta are joined in the cast by Will Patton, Cassidy Freeman, and Leven Rambin.

The Forever Purge was produced by DeMonaco, Sébastien K. Lemercier, Jason Blum, Michael Bay, Brad Fuller, and Andrew Form.
