The last set of NOW YOU SEE ME 2 character posters were a little bright for my tastes, but thankfully Lionsgate has taken some inspiration from the magic of the past when it comes to our latest look at the cast of NOW YOU SEE ME 2. I can't be the only one out there who was hoping to enjoy NOW YOU SEE ME a lot more than I did, but the films various twists and improbable tricks left much to be desired. However, as a sucker for films about magic and magicians, I'm somehow still looking forward to the four horsemen's second act. Get it together, Kevin.
A new trailer for NOW YOU SEE ME 2 will drop tomorrow, but in the meantime these new posters featuring Jesse Eisenberg, Dave Franco, Woody Harrelson, and Lizzy Caplan are easily my favourite part of the upcoming sequel.
A synopsis for NOW YOU SEE ME 2:
One year after outwitting the FBI and winning the public's adulation with their Robin Hood-style magic spectacles, The Four Horsemen resurface for a comeback performance in hopes of exposing the unethical practices of a tech magnate. The man behind their vanishing act is none other than Walter Mabry, a tech prodigy who threatens the Horsemen into pulling off their most impossible heist yet. Their only hope is to perform one last unprecedented stunt to clear their names and reveal the mastermind behind it all.
NOW YOU SEE ME 2 will appear in theaters on June 10, 2016.
