So a couple of days back Eric gave you all the expected news that THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO was going to be receiving an R rating. Well that isn’t the only slice you’ll be getting from the film this week, an additional four TV Spots have been released! Yes you read that correctly, not one, not two, but four of them!
They each have a different theme to them, and show us the story from slightly different angles. They are all very much worth checking out, especially if this is a top priority film for you. The film is quickly creeping upon us; it’s out December 21st – that is now less than a month! Hard to believe, where does the time fly?
Hoping to distance himself from the fallout of a libel conviction, journalist Mikael Blomkvist (Craig) retreats to a remote island in Sweden’s far north where the unsolved murder of a young girl still haunts her industrialist uncle forty years later. Ensconced in a cottage on the island where the killer may still roam, Blomkvist’s investigation draws him into the secrets and lies of the rich and powerful, and throws him together with one unlikely ally tattooed, punk hacker, Lisbeth Salander (Mara).
The film will feature the talents of Rooney Mara (below), Daniel Craig, Stellan Skarsgård, Christopher Plummer, Robin Wright, Embeth Davidtz, Joely Richardson and Steven Berkof.
