The Goon poster has hordes of zombies and a bloodied wrench of awesomeness

I think I might have seen this biotch on the floor of the Comic Con in San Diego last week, but honestly… I don’t remember. That was a hazy time, my friends, but no matter, because the new poster for THE GOON is here and it kicks ass about as much as you knew it would!

Based on the hugely popular comic book series by Eric Powell (though Dark Horse), THE GOON (the animated feature-length motion picture) is being produced by all-around ninja filmmaker David Fincher, which means the darkness that you see on the poster won’t go away on the screen, but will likely be intensified 100 times over in the final product.

Scroll on down to check out the awesomeness of THE GOON. I’m digging the ghoulish zombie action going on all around the Indiana Jones-type character and his big lug of a sidekick. I also dig all the nasty, bloodied meat that’s hanging on the end of that giant wrench. Flippin’ fantastic!

Enjoy the new poster below (click on it for an even larger version!) and stick around for more news and updates on this relatively secret project as we hear it! THE GOON is aiming to hit theaters everywhere sometime next year.
