The Green Knight: trailer unveiled for fantasy horror film

A24 has just unleashed a great, new stylish trailer for their upcoming epic fantasy horror medieval film The Green Knight – based on the old Arthurian story – which you can check at the top of the article!

An epic fantasy adventure based on the timeless Arthurian legend, THE GREEN KNIGHT tells the story of Sir Gawain (Dev Patel), King Arthur’s reckless and headstrong nephew, who embarks on a daring quest to confront the eponymous Green Knight, a gigantic emerald-skinned stranger and tester of men. Gawain contends with ghosts, giants, thieves, and schemers in what becomes a deeper journey to define his character and prove his worth in the eyes of his family and kingdom by facing the ultimate challenger. From visionary filmmaker David Lowery comes a fresh and bold spin on a classic tale from the knights of the round table.

Honestly, been looking forward to this one for a while, so glad it’s finally going to be available to watch soon! The original tale is so weird, I’m just dying to know how they adapt it! Also a fan of Lowery, so I have high hopes!

Meanwhile, The Green Knight – directed by David Lowery and starring Dev Patel, Alicia Vikander, Joel Edgerton, Sarita Choudhury, Sean Harris, Kate Dickie, Barry Keoghan and Ralph Ineson – will stalk theaters July 30th!
