The Heiress teaser trailer promotes supernatural thriller’s March release

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

The Movie Partnership, in association with Old Way Film & Television, will be bringing director Chris Bell's supernatural thriller The Heiress on all major digital platforms in the UK and across the world – excluding the US and Canada – on March 15th… and if you're in the US and Canada, don't worry, you won't have much of an extra wait. 4Digital Media will be releasing The Heiress in those countries on March 16th.

A teaser trailer has arrived online to promote the upcoming release of The Heiress, and you can check that out in the embed above.

The film stars Candis Nergaard, Jayne Wisener, Jonny Phillips, David Schaal, Denise Stephenson, Mark Arden, and Flip Webster. The story centers on Hergaard and Wisener's characters Claire and Anna,

cousins who share a mysterious connection to a dark family secret. Following the death of Clare’s grandmother, ancient spirits are unleashed and the women must do battle with ‘Lilith’, a malevolent female spirit who has returned to claim possession of Anna’s unborn child.

Bell wrote the screenplay with Danny Prescott, Jezz Vernon, and Kelly Prescott.

Producers Terry Stone and Richard Turner said The Heiress is

a supernatural, thematic genre piece that’s focused on the centuries-old conflict between religion and science. It’s also firmly a post #metoo film, examining the issues with male hierarchies and assumptions from a feminist perspective. We’re thrilled that, alongside 4Digital Media, we can bring this film to a global audience."

Give the trailer a look and see if this movie will be going on your "to watch" list in March.
