Well, after a long series of updates, it would seem as though Lionsgate has completed casting its large batch of “Tributes”, as an announcement today from the studio that “Tribute Reaping has come to an end with the final casting of Cato and Clove from District 2”. The last pieces to the puzzle (and apparently crucial characters in the book), Cato and Clove will be portrayed by Alexander Ludwig and Isabelle Fuhrman, respectively.

Ludwig you’ll recognize if you’ve seen THE SEEKER: THE DARK IS RISING (pictured right) or RACE TO WITCH MOUNTAIN, in which he starred opposite The Rock. Meanwhile, Fuhrman broke through with her unsettling performance in Dark Castle’s creepy ORPHAN (pictured below).

The two join Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Stanley Tucci, Wes Bentley, Paula Malcomson and Elizabeth Banks, as well as a host of other young Tributes, in THE HUNGER GAMES, which opens on MARCH 23, 2012.
