I wanted to see director Deon Taylor's psychological thriller THE INTRUDER when it came out in theatres in May, but I didn't have a chance to… and judging by the film's $36 million worldwide haul, there weren't a whole lot of movie-goers who made it out for this one. But those of us who missed it will have a chance to check it out when it reaches home video next month.

THE INTRUDER is getting a digital release on July 16th, and that will be followed by a Blu-ray and DVD release on July 30th. You can pre-order a copy at THIS LINK.

The cover of the Blu-ray can be seen below and features the announcement that it contains a "SHOCKING alternate ending", along with deleted scenes.

Written by David Loughery, THE INTRUDER stars Meagan Good, Michael Ealy, Dennis Quaid, and Joseph Sikora in the story of

a young married couple who buys a beautiful Napa Valley home only to find that the man they bought it from refuses to let go of the property, and he slowly terrorizes them.

Here's the bonus features for the home video release:

Making a Modern Thriller Featurette: Discover how the cast and crew brought Charlie Peck and the world of Foxglove to life with looks into the scripting process, cast, location scouting and more!

Alternate Ending

6 Deleted Scenes

Gag Reel: Being a homeowner is no laughing matter – but check out the cast of The Intruder having more than a few laughs during the making of the film!

Feature Commentary with Director Deon Taylor, writer David Loughery, Producer Roxanne Avent, Meagan Good, and Michael Ealy.

I'll be watching THE INTRUDER as soon as possible after it's available, because I'm still hyped to see Dennis Quaid go full maniac.
