The Long Island Monster Gallery has over 30 monsters on display

The Long Island Monster Gallery has now opened its doors in Mineola, New York and will be allowing genre fans of all ages to come in and check out their monster displays every weekend from the end of September through October. To get into the gallery, you’ll have to book a reservation, and you can do so at THIS LINK. Ticket prices are $25 for anyone over the age of 12, $20 for kids 5 to 11 – and kids under the age of 5 can get in for free.

Here’s the official description of The Long Island Monster Gallery:

We are Long Island’s first immersive gallery dedicated to horror and halloween movies. Featuring two floors, this cinematic gallery showcases over 30 life size monsters accompanied by theatrical sets, lighting, and music. Each monster has been hand crafted by artists from around the world.

And here’s how gallery founder Jason Kloos described it during an interview on Slasher Radio:

What we are is a highly immersive art gallery. When you come in, it’s a spooky atmosphere, we’ve themed the gallery really well. We have these life-size monsters on display for you to take pictures with, and we let you get really up close to them so you can appreciate the detail that the artists have put into them. Most of our monsters are done by different artists, and it’s really their take on the monster. They brought this monster out of the screen, and this is their take on what they would look life if they were standing right in front of you.

We have two floors and we have over thirty monster displays that you can come see and take pictures with. You have 45 minutes once you book a reservation, we let you go in and the gallery is yours for 45 minutes.

Monsters on display include Freddy Krueger, a 7 foot tall Creeper, Gremlins, Universal monsters, and more.

The Long Island Monster Gallery sounds like a very cool place, and they already have plans for the future, including a Nightmare Before Christmas theme this December and other events throughout the year.
