Word has it that the dynamic duo of Chad Stahelski and Derek Kolstad are reteaming for New Line's remake of the 2010 South Korean action-drama THE MAN FROM NOWHERE. Famously known as the creative talent behind Keanu Reeves' John Wick franchise, reports indicate that Stahelski will produce the project, with Kolstad set to pen the script.

THE MAN FROM NOWHERE was the highest-grossing film in South Korea during its year of release after banking $42 million in tickets sold. Directed by Jeong-beom Lee, the film centers on a quiet pawnshop keeper with a violent past who takes on a drug-and-organ trafficking ring in hope of saving a child who is his only friend.

Stahelski will produce with Jason Spitz via their 87Eleven Entertainment production studio, alongside CJ E&M. According to Deadline, Kolstad has already delivered his script which was met with high praise from executives. As part of the next step in the process, the powers that be will begin meeting with potential directors, as Stahelski is not expected to shoot the film.
