The Nest: Exclusive Clip from Dee Wallace supernatural horror film!

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Director James Suttles' supernatural horror-thriller The Nest is now available to watch exclusively through Redbox, and will be receiving a DVD and digital release courtesy of 4DigitalMedia on July 20th. Copies of the DVD can be pre-ordered at THIS LINK. One week out from that release, we've gotten our hands on an EXCLUSIVE clip from the film and you can see it in the embed above!

In this clip, we have strange things happening in a basement and a little kid acting super creepy. Cornerstones of the horror genre.

Written by Jennifer Trudrung, The Nest has the following synopsis:

When Meg and her mother Beth visit a yard sale, Beth buys her young daughter an adorable stuffed bear, thinking it may help with Meg’s separation anxiety. As children do, she quickly becomes attached to the bear, talking to it and taking it everywhere she goes. However, soon Beth notices that the bear is communicating with Meg and even influencing her behavior. When Meg starts developing hoarding habits, and seems infected by a parasitic creature, things take a turn for the worse. Soon it’s clear there’s something much more nightmarish and sinister to this yard sale toy than anyone could have imagined.

The cast includes Sarah Navratil, Kevin Patrick Murphy, Drez Ryan, Blaque Fowler, Anna Lynn Holleman, Penny Munroe, Maple Suttles, Piper Suttles, and genre icon Dee Wallace. According to Horror Obsessive, Wallace's role in the film is "truly memorable", which isn't surprising to hear. Wallace is always memorable.

Check out our clip from The Nest, which is followed by the trailer in the embed, and if you don't want to wait seven days for the wider release you can go out and rent the movie right now from a Redbox.

James Suttles previously directed the 2019 horror film The Evil Inside Her, starring Eric Roberts.
