The Pied Piper gang returns in new trailer for Silicon Valley’s fifth season

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Over the course of four seasons of Silicon Valley, the Pied Piper gang have overcome obstacles and unveiled dazzling new technology, only to find their world come crashing down again and again. Although there's an element of repetition to the series, Richard (Thomas Middleditch), Dinesh (Kumail Nanjiani), Gilfoyle (Martin Starr), and Jared (Zach Woods) always manage to make the awkward comedy work brilliantly. The upcoming fifth season of the HBO series will find the gang developing a brand new internet, which directly threatens Gavin Belson (Matt Ross). This will also be the first season without T.J. Miller as Erlich, as the actor elected to depart the series last season.

Silicon Valley returns to HBO on March 25, 2018.
