The Predator: Hunters And Hunted official prequel novel coming this July

THE PREDATOR, Shane Black and Fred Dekker's reboot of PREDATOR is all set to invade theaters September 14th. And to get all of us ready for the film – and more specifically to let us all in on just how the events in the upcoming film came to be – Titan Books is going to be releasing an official movie prequel novel this July. 

The book is called The Predator: Hunters And Hunted Official Movie Prequel and will be 322 pages long. It comes to us via author James A. Moore who has written over 40 novels, including ALIEN: SEAS OF SORROWS and contributing to ALIEN: BUG HUNT. You can buy both of those novels by clicking their embedded links.

The Predator: Hunters And Hunted's synopsis goes like this:

For centuries Earth has been visited by warlike creatures that stalk mankind's finest warriors. Their goals unknown, these deadly hunters kill their prey and depart as invisibly as they arrived, leaving no trace other than a trail of bodies.

When Roger Elliott faced such a creature during the Vietnam War, he didn't expect to survive. I'm excited to check out this book and will be attempting to order my copy right after I finish typing this up. I'm hoping it will let us know just how not only the original PREDATOR connects to THE PREDATOR, but maybe how PREDATOR 2 and PREDATORS does as well. I guess we'll see this July…
