Free will is nothing but a sham according to the new WESTWORLD poster that serves as doom-laden tease for the approach of the show's third season.

As you can see from the images posted above and below, the new print features the mechanical skeleton of a "host," its knees bent and sinking into an ocean of salmon pink sand. Behind the Terminator's distant cousin lies a ruined city, its buildings ravaged and on the verge of collapse.

WESTWORLD Season 3 will consist of eight episodes as opposed to ten, and will introduce BREAKING BAD alum Aaron Paul as an LA construction worker named Caleb. Joining Paul for the show's next chapter are Vincent Cassel, Lena Waithe and Kid Cudi.

Much of the plot for Season 3 remains a mystery at this time, though it's to be expected that the story will revolve around Dolores escaping the Westworld compound and making her way toward "the mainland." Moreover, we also know that Paul's Caleb comes into contact with a wounded Dolores not long after her arrival in what is for her a strange, new land.

Created by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, WESTWORLD stars Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, Ed Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, Luke Hemsworth, Simon Quarterman, Rodrigo Santoro, Aaron Paul, Vincent Cassel, Lena Waithe, Scott Mescudi, Marshawn Lynch, John Gallagher Jr., Michael Ealy and Tommy Flanagan.

WESTWORLD Season 3 is set to reboot the robot apocalypse on March 15, at 9 p.m. EST on HBO.
