The Root of All DVDs

Remember that scene in POLTERGEIST when little Robbie is attacked by the scary tree in the backyard? Arguably one of the most memorable scenes in the movie, partly because… well… trees aren’t supposed to move, let alone pick you up and attempt to eat you! Well, Pioneer Motion Pictures decided to take this one step further in their homage to JAWS, with their movie TREES (It’s bite is worse than it’s bark!), about a group of people terrorized by a great white pine tree! Yes, I said it- man-eating trees! And if that doesn’t make you scratch your head, then maybe it’s sequel, THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL will!

Being released on DVD December 7th by Brain Damage Films and Maxim Media International, this man versus trees extravaganza, (along with the re-release of TREES ,in case you missed it the first time)will be available to own just in time for the holiday season. Some of you might be thinking- why make a movie about killer trees, but it’s not like it’s the first time filmmakers have made mass murderers out of regularly innate objects. Let’s not forget the JACK FROST flicks (which are awesome!) with a killer snowman, or the horribly awesome MONSTURD, featuring killer poop! Visit their official website HERE to check out the trailers.
