Most of the current generation probably wouldn’t know a Runaways song unless Paramore covers it, but their new biopic will undoubtedly attract a young audience simply by virtue of having TWILIGHT star Kristen Stewart rocking out.
The perpetually disinterested actress plays smoky-voiced rock queen Joan Jett, along with her fellow vamp-franchise star Dakota Fanning as Cherie Currie, in the story of how the legendary all-girl band THE RUNAWAYS was formed and marketed (by the always-welcome Michael Shannon).
