So last week, during the dead of Comic-Con, the first official still from Ridley Scott’s PROMETHEUS floated around the net (see it above). Today, a new photo from the UK/Iceland production has been propped up. However, it’s not the “official” second still people are making it out to be, we’ve heard from the grapevine that it’s actually set photo. Make of it what you will…
In the pic, a bombed out locale is featured…rubble strewn every which way. There’s also a helicopter rope being suspended for what looks to be the rescue of some poor bastard. Not sure how any of this will play, if at all, in the final product, but it’s always nice to get the daily reminder that Ridley Scott is back in our twisted corner of the sandbox. Love it!
With Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Guy Pearce, Charlize Theron, Idris Alba, Logan Marshall-Green, Rafe Spall, Sean Harris, Katie Dickie and Ben Foster all onboard – Visionary filmmaker Ridley Scott returns to the genre he helped define, creating an original science fiction epic set in the most dangerous corners of the universe. The film takes a team of scientists and explorers on a thrilling journey that will test their physical and mental limits and strand them on a distant world, where they will discover the answers to our most profound questions and to life’s ultimate mystery.
PROMETHEUS touches down June 8, 2012.

What do ya know…Noomi has a beautiful smile
