The Silent Hill Revelation 3D footage from Comic Con features lots of cleavers and cleavage

Last Updated on February 12, 2026

I enjoyed Christophe Gans’ 2006 SILENT HILL and was surprised it has taken this long for a sequel to be made. But, as our team at Comic Con can attest, the sequel is completed and coming soon.

SILENT HILL: REVELATION 3D was directed by Michael J. Basset (SOLOMON KANE) and is a direct sequel to Gans’ original. Our team did a great job of breaking down the footage shown and now it is available online. Check it out.

Plot: Heather Mason (Clemens) and her father (Bean) have been on the run, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn’t fully understand. On the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by horrific nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she’s not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her forever.

Based on that footage alone, I am not completely sold on the quality of this movie. But, with the fact that the same cast is returning and they are keeping the continuity, I will give it a shot.

SILENT HILL: REVELATION 3D stars Sean Bean, Deborah Kara Unger, Radha Mitchell, Adelaide Clemens, Kit Harington, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Malcolm Mcdowell. It will hit theaters just in time for Halloween, on October 26, 2012.
