So the MPA has unsurprisingly officially given James Gunn's upcoming "supervillain on a mission" reboot…sequel…thing…The Suicide Squad an R rating, for "strong violence and gore, language throughout, some sexual references, drug use, and brief graphic nudity.

Huh. Graphic nudity? I wonder which supervillain gets naked in this one? My bet is on Weasel.

Anyway, here's the official synopsis:

Super-Villains Harley Quinn, Bloodsport, Peacemaker and a collection of cons at Belle Reve prison join the super-secret, super-shady Task Force X where they are heavily-armed and dropped off at the remote, enemy-infused island of Corto Maltese.

Meanwhile, The Suicide Squad – directed by James Gunn and starring Margot Robbie, Viola Davis, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, David Dastmalchian, Daniela Melchior, Steve Agee, Idris Elba, John Cena, Storm Reid, Flula Borg, Nathan Fillion, Peter Capaldi, Pete Davidson, Alice Braga, Sean Gunn, Michael Rooker, Taika Waititi, Joaquín Cosío, Mayling Ng, Juan Diego Botto, Tinashe Kajese, Julio Ruiz, Sylvester Stallone, and Jennifer Holland. – will kill themselves in theaters August 6th!

So what do you guys think? Fans of Gunn's work? If so, gonna check this one out? Either way, sound off below!
